Collection: 1513 Rum

A Rum from Flevoland (Netherlands) with a special story

In 1513, Piri Reis's legendary map illustrated the mysteries and myths of the seven seas, drawing on great explorers of the past and ancient sources of knowledge now lost to time.

1513 Rum is a typical Dutch rum, meaning it's made from fermented sugar cane molasses and produced entirely in the Netherlands by Draco Spirit. A key characteristic is that the fermentation process takes place in old wine barrels with natural yeast.

The distillation is carried out entirely in handmade, traditional pot stills with a maximum capacity of 300 litres.

Draco Spirit Series 1513 offers various rums:

  • Premium
  • White rum
  • Spiced rum
  • Old rum
  • Vintage rum
